Sarsen publishing is an independent publishing company, created as an outlet for promoting music therapy and music education materials to professional, academic, and general readers.
Originating in 2007, Sarsen began by seeking to provide a new, innovative venue with which to publish and promote the evolution of the field. Sarsen began with an initial focus on musicianship relevant to music therapy clinicians and students, and a move towards use of video instruction at a time when other publishers were not employing such media. The Sarsen portfolio has expanded over time to provide resources related to clinical treatment and implementation.
For authors interested in potentially publishing, Sarsen welcomes manuscript proposal submissions for review. Please refer to the Information for Authors page for information.
